Thanks to so many on Micro.blog raving about Feedbin, I decided to give it a shot last night (14-day free trial). I am loving it so far. I am not using any third-party apps, just the web app. It’s really nice on my iPhone 7, and I’m keeping it pinned in Safari on my Macs.
what were you using before?
@craigmcclellan I was giving News Explorer a whirl; I like the iCloud sync (iCloud Kit, not Drive). Also using Reeder and ReadKit with FeedWrangler. Nothing has really satisfied me since NetNewsWire 3.x. We'll see what @brentsimmons does with Evergreen.
Same. I was using Feedly syncing via Reeder. But Feedbin’s
JSON
and Twitter support and its beautiful UI make it hard to beat.@jdsimcoe I'm really liking the UI. Unlike FeedWrangler and other RSS services, I don't feel the need currently to use a third-party client. I've got the Help doc with keyboard shortcuts open in another tab so I can learn them for when on the Mac.
Ever tried feedly? That's been my rss since google reader ended.
@stevepbrady I have not. I used NNW 3 for a long time after it wasn't feasible anymore due to no more syncing. And to be honest, Twitter kind of became my RSS reader for a while. When I finally got around to getting into RSS again, for some reason FeedWrangler seemed to be the one to jump on at the time.
